Across the nation health care organizations are facing major financial challenges. Fortunately, Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility with well-trained staff and a strong balance sheet. However, maintaining this position is becoming increasingly difficult. Demands on services are escalating, reimbursements are declining and costs are rising. Due to significant reductions in hospital margins, private funding through Bozeman Deaconess Foundation is essential to insuring financial stability and maintaining local, nonprofit ownership of our health care system. The foundation raises private funds for two purposes. First, contributions are sought for capital projects, specialized equipment and expanded services to allow patients to receive advanced treatments in their home community. Second, endowment funds are being built, the interest from which will offset declining reimbursements. Your support will help us maintain affordable health care in the Gallatin Valley. The health and well-being of our community depends on it. | 2011 Bozeman Deaconess Foundation Board of Directors and Staff Pictured from left to right back row: Debra Gill, Patty Hinds, Rich Deming, Jeff King, Vickie Groeneweg, Scott Levandowski, Crystal Leach, Bob Braaksma, Andrea Lambert, Ann Leuprecht.
